BARLASTON VILLAGE HALL CAR PARK CLOSURE NOTICE - September 2020
Due to building works being undertaken, the car park at the Village Hall is going to be unavailable for the next few weeks. As asbestos works are involved, we are putting up barriers and chaining the small gate off.
In this connection Staffordshire County Council are undertaking a Crossing Patrol trial on the corner of Broughton Crescent / Station Road. Parents can use St John's Car Park as a drop off / pick up point for their children.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
In line with government advice to limit the spread of Coronavirus, we regret to advise that the Village Hall is no longer available for hire. The decision will be reviewed regularly and we apologise to all hirers and users for this unprecedented step.
The Village Hall is run by a Committee of volunteers as it is a registered charity. We are currently (September 2019) seeking at least two additional members. Once they are up-to-speed, it is hoped that the vacant post of Hall Secretary could be filled, as well as a Project Manager to oversee an established programme of refurbishment needs. If you are interested please get in touch.
We’re proud of our Village Hall – we hope you like it too. Use our booking form to get in touch or call us using the details below and we’ll contact you confirming availability and arrange a viewing if you so wish.
In the event of an emergency, you can find contact details for all our volunteer members on the notice board outside the Village Hall.
