Our Main Hall
Our fully air conditioned hall is ideally suited for family parties, club meetings, live performers or static exhibitions - anything really! And we have a range of facilities to help your event go with a swing, including our lottery-funded Film Projector equipment - please contact us for further details.
Come dancing – we’re proud to be one of the very few venues in Staffordshire with a professional standard maple wood sprung dance floor – perfect for dancing the night away!
Wired for sound - our hall has its own sound system complete with dance and disco lights. So all you need for your party is a playlist on your mp3, iPod, phone or computer. Or, if you have live performers, we have a large stage and PA system to help you wow your guests. Wi-Fi is available.
Flexible layout – the number of people we can accommodate depends on the type of event. For non-seated events - dances etc - its 100 people (80 if you need tables set out). For seated events, it’s 120 people (90 if you need tables set out). There are separate tables for outside usage.

We have 54 folding chairs in the main hall, with another 54 chairs in easy access storage should you need them.
When nature calls - We have separate men’s and women’s toilets near the main hall entrance as well as an easy access disabled WC and a baby changing unit.
Our Kitchen
Our well-equipped kitchen is large, well lit, with plenty of worktop space. There is access from the main hall as well as a separate external door to the side of the hall. Speaking of easy access, you can also pass your goodies directly through to the main hall using our handy serving hatch.
We have a constant boiling water dispenser for hot drinks and an under work top fridge with a small freezer box. Our kitchen has everything you will need including:

New hot water system to kitchen sinks.

Kitchen cupboard units, sinks and worktops.

Electric serving hatch with more serving area.

Top tip to get the best from our kitchen:

While induction hobs are very fast to heat up, very efficient and much easier to clean, pans without a magnetic metal base won’t heat up. We have a small selection of saucepans available but if you plan to cook with your own pans, a quick way to check for suitability is to test the base to see if it is magnetic.
The Ruth Dickson Meeting Room
This room is an ideal space for small groups, workshops, interviews and meetings. It can comfortably seat around 20 people.
This room is entirely self-contained. It has its own door from the side of the hall, a small kitchen area including a selection of crockery, its own toilet and a separate fire exit. This means you can hire the room on its own or with the main hall and kitchen for bigger events.Please note that this room is not suitable for wheelchair users due to access and toilet facilities only being available within the main hall.
